I have an iMac - about 5 years old, I have an old external WD but my desktop doesn’t recognise it, and I think it’s not getting enough power. I have probably used 250-300GB space on desktop. I am looking for back up so that I can upgrade my OS, it’s just home use, but as important financial info / photos / scans and MS Office apps and tons of music etc.I expect to use something like the passport for Mac, is that the right product? Anything I should look out for?
