How do I back up specific files and folders using WD My Passport Essential SE and WD SmartWare?

I don’t want to use the categories provided by WD. I want to select my own folders and files.

Any help will be apreciated.

Thanks, but i don’t see any option to select the folders and files that I want to back up.

I can only select a full partition.

there are some paid softwares out there for it

here is an example from a freeware application Syncbak

where you can synchornise the source folder from your pc to the destination folder on your drive
