Backup based on folder rather than the content format

I have just received the WD My Passport Essential and installed the SmareWare. However it is set to back up my data based on the format, such as Document, Music or Movie.

How can I back up the data based on folder structure? For example, instead of backing up *.doc files on D: drive, how to backup a particular folder on D:?

Hi there, Smartware doesn’t allow to select folders.

I’d try another software if I were you… I use Windows Backup.
