G-RAID Professional 16TB disappears on reboot

Hi. I have a correctly configured RAID0 drive. Disappearing has been an ongoing problem. If the drive appears and I don’t reboot or disconnect it, it is fine. Once I reboot, it is usually gone again.

This time, I just reversed the cable and it started working. Win10 updates required a reboot and now it’s gone again. So I spent $30 on a good TB4 cable but it is not coming back.

Windows does not see the drive. If I restart the drive or reconnect it, the drives are spinning. It will probably return within the next week as it often does.

I am on an Asrock X570 MB that has a dedicated TB3 card AIC 2.0. That is the connection to the Sandisk drive.

I just swapped the 16Gb’s TB3 connection with a G-RAID 12GB and the 12GB fired up but not the 16TB. There are only (2) TB3 ports on the AIC Thunderbolt card so this rules out a port problem on the card.

The troubleshooting suggested I try to connect it to another PC and it worked. So the Asrock Taichi Thunderbolt 3 R2.0 card is underpowed. It will power the G-Tech 12TB.
