G RAID MIRROR - so good its on fyah?

I. have several sandisk pro drives. currently an 18TB project with pro-mag slot and a G-RAID Mirror 8TB. I got the RAID in December, it seems to be working a lot for a drive that has a 1TB backup photo library (that does not get accessed, it is merely for backup) I turned on my Disk Drill SMART monitoring it is typically between 66 and 68 degrees. Celsius. The 18TB is typically around 44 degrees and my internal Mac studio SSD is almost never more than 24 degrees. I can’t see the RAID drive lasting very long.

Advice? This is my backup. It is to protect my data in case a failure happens, it seems this drive will be the failure.

I was at least hoping for a glint of cause or explanation… I will post this there whenever I am granted access.

Correction: it’s a G-RAID Mirror 16TB - I always call a raid device by its actual usable storage in Raid 1
