G-Raid managed in MacOS 10.14.6

I just took delivery on a 24 gigabyte G-Raid (GRARTH3NB240002BDB). I installed G-RAID with Thunderbolt Configurator but cannot set up my system. In the configurator the drive shows up as GRaid with Thunderbolt Three, but it has zero capacity and no name. I also cannot control it with Disk Utility. My system does not support Thunderbolt Three, so I am using the supplied USB A>C cable.

I need to format two drives as JBOD* and start using the system.

Hoping someone can help me soon so I can return this if need be.

Thank you very much
