The black varnish of my fuze was scratched after 2 weeks of light use (no carry around !!!)
I decided to get it off completely:

I thinks it looks even better than before!
Please post your opinion

did you use sand paper? Thanks
To each his own, I guess . . . but you’re talking about the rubberized, non-slip coating on the back of your Fuze, not the shiny black front screen plate. Now that you have it sanded down to bare metal, you probably ought to spray-paint it with something or it will begin to discolor and rust ‘get yucky’.
And 6 ‘edits’ on a 5 line post?

It won’t rust, the rear shell is made of drawn aluminum. It can corrode though!

You’re right . . . bad choice of words on my part.
Two weeks of light use and the FRONT of your Fuze looks that horribly scratched? I have been using mine the past few weeks heavily and carrying it around, but I keep it in the provided-holder when carrying it and take care of it, and it’s not that scratched…at all.
5 edits beacause i wanted the photos to be visible as thumbnails (which didn’t work)
I used very fine sandpaper on the back and a non-sharp-piece of metal for the parts near the front-cover
