Hello community. This is a recent problem, as I’ve been using this player for a couple of months without any problems. I’m running V01.01.22A and I sync using MediaMonkey 3.0 in MTP mode. (Which means the podcasts go into the Music folder and are separated based on genre.)
Anways, when I play a podcast, after a minute or two, it freezes. The progress bar and the track time stops, but it still shows a green play arrow. Sometimes I have to turn the device off and back on, in order to play something else. Playing the file from the beginning and fast-forwarding past the point doesn’t help, and it still freezes.
If anyone could give me an idea of what could be causing this problem, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
Podcasts are a dynamic thing, changing over successive “broadcasts”. I have seen bit rates change, ID3 tag data change, new embedded art, all kinds of things.
Thus, the problem may not necessarily be with the Fuze. Download and install MP3Tag, and have a look at the files that work, versus the ones that suddenly don’t.
Bob
I’ve already checked over the different fields on the files, and I haven’t found any problems. But, one thing I have noticed is that this problem is happening with every podcast that has been synced since recently. But I’m still at a loss to explain how this is happening.

Instead of “syncing” try “send to–> folder copy—>(fuze drive letter) : PODCASTS”

No, I’m using it in MTP mode, so I can’t sync to a drive letter or specific directory. But, I did manage to find out the problem: It turns out that the network drive I was downloading podcasts to was full. So, I was abel to to fix the problem. Sorry, for the trouble, and thanks anyways for trying to help.
