I have just purchased a WD my passport essential and have installed it on my computer, however when i plug it into my tv it stops working - it even stops my remote from being able to do anything. What am i doing wrong.
Hi there, the passport essential was made for computers and tends not to work with TVs. First, make sure the drive is formatted in a file system supported by your TV (The passport comes NTFS, most TVs work with FAT32), and if it still doesn’t work then try another drive made for generic uses, like the Elements or a passport made to be used with TVs, like the Passport AV.
Hey I have the WD 500 GB passport elite and I can not for the life of me remember how to delete movies, or anything I do not want on my hard drive anymore. Could someone explain in baby terms lol
Highlight the file you no longer want, usually by clicking on it once, then press Delete on your keyboard.
