Firmware Update Failed | WD Blue SATA SSD 2.5"

Hi!

I’ve having a ton of troubles trying to figure this out.

So my PC always analyzes and tries to repair the C disk (SSD) upon start (can be skipped though). I recently installed the WD dashboard and tried updating the SSD firmware but I’m getting the same message over and over again.

Has anyone else encountered the same issue and found a way to solve it? I’d really appreciate any clue that might help me.

Thanks!

Good idea to submit a ticket to WD for assistance. Chances are if you couldn’t find an answer on these forums, you’d could be the first to share your solution once you find one. Cheers!

I had the same issue. To work around this, I made a bootable USB from that same dashboard software and was able to update the firmware by booting to USB.

I am having this issue both with dashboard and with bootable usb. Looking into the logs I see following errors. Anyone else having this?
