My external disk 2TB My Book ,all time now after 4 minutes work is disconnected
I think problem with overheating sensor.
After turning we see  message in the display - the disc is overheated and after 4 minutes it will be turn off.
It shows not correct temperature - 79-80 degrees  ( he is not work). How can I fix this problem ? Possible to disable the sensor ?

Can you please provide the model number of the drive that you have?

Is the unit located in a well ventilated place?
