Erase option not available in Dashboard for WD Blue SN550 SSD

Hi,

I’m trying to repurpose my WD Blue SN550 SSD as a data drive. I downloaded the Sandisk Dashboard and it recognises the drive but the erase option in tools is not available. How do I make the drive a simple data drive?

@Alan_Jeans Partition and Format the drive using Windows Disk Manager.

SBrown, Thanks, I’ve tried that. It was a boot drive and it has 5 partitions, 4 of which there is no option to delete, shrink or format. I wouldn’t be bothered but one is a recovery partition with 14GB of space.
