Dashboard won't run on Windows 8.1 (32-bit), why?

I keep getting this error (see attachment)

So I deleted the 2.3.2.0 version and installed 1.4.4.4 and it works

But I wanted to know, does the latest firmware update for X400 also appear in the SSD Dashboard 1.4.4.4? So the firmware version I have is the latest (X4162000)?
