I was trying to restore files to my computer but was unable to do so. I ran the WD diagnostic tests and it failed every one. Can files be recovered from a damaged disk? I can still get to the directory in Windows File Manager.

If the drive is still visible on the computer, you can try a data recovery software, however lets see if another user can share some information or tips on this matter.
