Hello forum. I have problems to access to my stored files on the WD Elements WDBU6Y0020BBK-01, the computer recognize the hard drive but is not possible to open it and access my stored files. I have downloaded and installed Data Life Diagnostic but is not working when the unit (my WD Elements) is connected to the USB port. Any help will be very welcome.
If you test the drive on a different computer, stills the same?
Hi, Ermorel and thanks. I’ve tested the drive on a few computers and it’s the same, the storage drive doesn’t load and it’s impossible to acces my files. I can’t use any software because the computer it’s not recognizing properly the drive. I’ve tried Data Lifeguard Diagnostic and it doesn’t work when the drive is connected to the usb port. The files are not deleted, all the files are in my WD Elements drive, the problem is that I can’t access them because the drive doesn’t work. Thanks anyway.
