Does SanDisk have software for cloning a boot drive to a SanDisk SSD?

Also , suggest you download the sandisk SSD Dashboard utility … you can het to that site via the tools tab in the dashboard

This software requires a special cable which is not provided. I used http://clonezilla.org/ , but it also has its own problems and idiosyncrasies.
The usb-sata cable you mention is needed when using a USB port to connect the SSD … as per cloning on a notebook that has only a single sata drive.
If cloning on a desktop with multiple sata ports, the cable is not necessary
I wasn’t able to use it on a notebook with e-SATA port either.
