Can't view My Passport Essential at my computer

I brought my passport half year ago, it is working properly previously. But i can’t view my passport drive since yesterday. when i plugging the passport drive, the LED is blinking and i heard a clicking sound. After around half or 1 minute, no more clicking sound, but i can see the icon at taskbar showing an USB occurred. i can’t view my passport at my computer but i can safely remove hardware. Besides, i try go to control panel-device management, i saw my passport icon (rhombic shape with the negative sign inside)

Please help me get back my file at my passport essential, all my study material and assignment inside the drive.

Hi, be sure to use the USB cable that came with the passport, avoid using USB cables or USB hubs. If the clicking sound continues, then there is not a lot you can do.

Further Information

It doesn’t come up under my computer but it does come up in Safely Remove Hardware and Disk Management but under disc management it says the hard drive is on Disc 1, not initialised and unallocated. And then when I try to initialise the device it comes up with an I/O device error.
