Can't create backup plan on WD Mybook

When i try to create a backup plan for my WD MyBook, it asks me to pick a backup drive and shows MyBook. When I select MyBook the program just closes. Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

We need to know which software you are using to create the backup. Are you using the WD backup or the Windows backup program? If on the Mac, are you using the TimeMachine Backup.

I am using WD backup

You might want to cal WD support team. I don’t use WD backup software.
