Recently updated firmware (1.016) and installed latest SmartWare on PC. When I go into SmartWare and select the drive and choose set up drive, select Security, it gives me the boxes for putting in password, verify, hint, remember on this pc, the warning statement, then the I understand checkbox. When I enter all the data, passwords, etc and press the Save Security Settings button, the drive light flashes and it simply returns to the same Set Security screen.
When I safely remove drive and reinsert (on any PC) there is no password on the drive.
This worked prior to firmware update as the drive used to have security on it. I removed the security some time ago, but it has not worked since the firmware update. The drive works normally otherwise on any system it is plugged into. It just fails to set security.
NOTE: the original software and unlocker virtual CD are still there (on the drive) and both drives open when plugging into a PC (unlocker drive, and data partition).
Any thoughts?
Thanks
