I’m running the latest 2.93 firmware on the Media Drive. Also running latest Media Drive App (3.04) from App Store. When I view my iPhone videos or photos through the Media Drive app, nothing shows up. Therefore I cannot transfer files from either iPhone I’ve tested (running iOS 7.1.1, and 8.1.0). By contrast, the Andriod app sees video/photos locally and can upload to the Media Drive.
Does anyone know where the problem is on the Apple side?

This happens because Apple limit all 3d party devices to access the camera roll of the apple device. So in that case if your pics and videos are not located in the camera roll you will not be able to upload the files to the wmd because it cannot access any other place from the device.
