I have been running my WD Green SSD (WDS120G2G0A) for almost 2 years now, under Linux Mint. I want to check if there are any firmware updates that I should install, but can find no way on the WD web-site to locate firmware updates for this SSD in the absence of the WD Dashboard. Is there any way around this defect in WD support?
SATA SSD usually do not need a firmware update. If there is a problem with it, they are low cost now and replacements are more affordable.
WD seems to have only windows software for their storage products
