Cannot Access M Passport

I work/teach in a juvenile facility and caught a young man playing with my laptop and my passport was connected. He says he did nothing but now I can’t access my drive. I tried an unlocker but it says it isn’t locked. I did a scan and all the file folders are there but it will not give me permission to acces the drive. I changed the permissions to everyone but still when I plug it in, it recognizes the passort but will not let met open or access the files.  HELP!!

You have to check the permissions on the computer.
