My drive is power dead. Can’t connect at all
I asked for an Advance Replacement RMA.
My question is can I take off the disks in the case and try to backup the data before send the defect back? Would that void the warranty?

If you open it with out permission you void the warranty. Is it actually the drive or the power adapter?
I think it’s the power / interface unit, but not sure. How do I got the permission?
I really need the data.
