What will happen when I format my new 4tb my passport drive directly through mobile. I heard that mobile recognise only upto 2tb. Will formatting makes another 2tb corrupt. Mobile gives me option to format the Fisk but I am worried. Please help me.

We only recommend to format the drive using computer. Yes, as your mobile phone does not support drive more that 2 TB drive and if you format the drive through mobile then rest of the 2 TB would be un-allocated and you would not be able to use half capacity of the drive.
Also, you should contact the mobile manufacturer and check the compatibility of the drive with your mobile.
NOTE: Formatting is data destructive and cannot be undone.
Thanks for reply. I formatted drive through computer in exFAT now my mobile detecting full 4tb drive. I can directly connect 4tb drive via mobile Redmi note 3. Thanks again for reply
