Silly first time user question - brought My Passport on vacation fully loaded with all my personal files. Wanted to access them using my husbands computer and silly me thought i could just plug in the device and find the files but not the case. do i have to load any software on husband’s computer to access my files from this device? doesnt work as easy as a simply smaller thumb drive does. Any advice?

If you used WD Smartware in order to create the backup then you can go to the drive and look for a folder called “WDSmartware. Swstor”. Here you will find all the backed up files and you can just copy and paste them into the computer.
