Better program to convert Videos for Sansa e250

Is there a better program that will convert videos for the Sansa e250 other then the one provided by Sandisk? It keeps crashing on me on most of the videos I try to convert that convert just fine to my Creative Zen W and a cheap Cody 4GB Media player I have.

The Sansa uses the Apple Quicktime file format so it seems like all that has to be done is convert to the resolution of the screen and maybe the Sansa limit of the Sansa e250 hardware…

Big can o’worms here, but for brevity’s sake, you might try Video4Fuze. As the e200 series v2 models share the same processor as the newer Fuze, it should probably work.

Can’t say about v1’s. I don’t know if anyone’s tried it on one yet. They _ do _ require a different format video file than the v2’s. If you have a v1 model and it works, please post backand let us know. That would be useful to know.

If you put Rockbox firmware on your e250, you can then use WinFF to convert pretty much any format to one that will play on your player with Rockbox.

Tks a lot, I lost my sansa disk and didn’t know how to put videos on my e250, and winff helps a lot as I’ve got Rockbox on mine already. Tks for sharing again :smileyvery-happy:
