Bad Sector 1 TB WD Elements SE

I have a 1 TB WD Elements SE bought 2011 2012 made in Thailand.

From What I understand my drive have bad sector. The HDD Regenerator Program says bad sector and Hard Drive not there.

My computer shops says the hard drive is broken and I can not repair it.

I have another hard drive bought at the same time is there anything I can use to swap? I only care about the content on the first one.

HDD R program says I should use it as an internal drive but how do I do that?

8)      For those who are able to see USB drive on explore – Never run Windows scan disk. This will mark all the bad blocks and render them useless.

My recommendation on this case, is to get a data recovery software to see if you can get the information out of the drive.

Check online for a free data recovery softare. Once you get your files out of the drive, you can use the DLG tool to run the extended test as this will attent to fix the bad sectors.

The problem with that program is it said to many error. I think the error is in the start of the hard drive. I am running one recovery program now and it has not found any error after the first sectors. But it is still running.

Can you tell me what is these contacts on the pictures?
