I have a NEW WE Elements 6tb that I’ve tried to use to backup my system now three times. So far, everytime I try it stops around 3/4 of the way thru and says it failed to back up. I am running Win10 & have it hooked up to a USB3 port. Defective unit?
What backup software do you use? Windows Backup and Restore or something? Is there any error messages?
