Backup everything?

Just got My Book Essential 500g and I need it to backup everything automatically not just documents, pics and music. Like ISO images, applications, ect…

Is this possible with the smartware or am I stuck manually doing this and treating the external as just a hard drive? Thanks in advance.

The Smartware is total ■■■■. Over in support they have a stripped down version of Acronis True Image  http://support.wdc.com/product/downloaddetail.asp?swid=119&wdc_lang=en  I use the paid version and it works well. That might work out better for you.

You can also use the Windows Backup utility.
