Just got my second MyBook 4 TB external drive. I have a internal HDD with 5 partitions. C & D are mainly OS(Win 8) & apps while E F & G are for my stuff - data, photographs and downloaded stuff. I need to create a single back up plan that would allow me to select multiple folders/files from these 3 drives. Can it be done? IF not is there another way to do it? I looked into the help files but couldn’t find the answer there.

Welcome to the WD Community.
Currently, WD Smartware will identify those partitions as different sources and they will need to be backed up one at the time.
Check online to see if you can find a backup software that performs a backup on different partitions at the same time.

Thanks. That’s what I wanted to know. Another thing, say I create a back up for some folders from drive E: After I have backed up, I create another back up from drive F: So will WD Smartware continuously backup both the projects/tasks? Or will it remember only the last one?
