I was using my 2TB external without any issues for almost an year or so. Since coupl eof days, the drive prompts me to format every single time I connect my external drive. I have lots of data and hence, I am not for getting it formatted. How can I get rid of this , while able to access my data. Thanks in advance.

There could be multiple reasons for which the drive is not getting accessible. You can try checking the drive on a different device connecting straight on the USB port of the host device and avoiding USB hubs. We recommend contacting our support team for isolating this issue.
