A few songs skip over

Just loaded my songs onto the player and there are a few songs that when I am forwarding to get to next song, the song comes up and a crack noise and then skips immediately to next song.  I basically would just like to delete these songs, but can keep them on the screen long enough to delete.  Any ideas?   Thanks for any help.
