I got the 1 TB about a month ago. It was working very well. I I formatted it with a MAC OS ( journaled, encrypted). But when i came to transfer files from it, something happened with the drive and it just suddenly quit. Then i tried to repair it using disk utility but it said ( information was unavailable during an internal look up). i tried formatting it but it also wasn’t working. I also tried partitioning it but it says that it cannot because " disk contains corestorage physical volumes. This partition cannot be modified because it contains encrypted partitions. What can i do?
The encryption needs to be removed
