WD2Go file access problem

I have problems with WD2Go, while I’m trying to access my MBL through the service.

I think everything is properly set up on the device. I can log into WD2Go on a remote computer and then I’m able to connect to a share on the device to open it in explorer. I can browse the folders/files, everything seems to be OK.

Until I try to copy some files/folders to the local disk. For some files, I get the error message “Can’t read from source file or disk.” As I tested this, it does not depend on the file size (I’m working with 100-400KB files), or file type, or anything I can think of. There are just some files I can copy without any problem and some others I can’t. Disconnect and reconnect, the very same files I cannot copy.

Can anyone help me?

PS: I have 2TB MBL with latest firmware, trying to connect to it from Win7/Win8 machines.

Hello, check if you have the latest Java update installed.

I have checked, it wasn’t (however Java Updater said it was up to date). I updated manually to latest Java.

Anyway, that did not solve my problem. Copying a folder from WD to my desktop with the following result:

Still no clue why is this happening.
