My Ultra Passport has started beeping - all back ups appear to be continuing OK.
Any thoughts / advice on what this is?

Did you try connecting the drive with a different USB cable or to a different USB port?
Define “beeping” … Video is helpful.
I have a similar problem with my Ultra Passport 3Tb, only started a few weeks back, but beeps every 3-4 minutes. I’ve tried changing the cable, and have now ordered some 1.8m USB3.0 micro B leads to connect straight to the TV. I was concerned that the noise maybe a warning that it is about to fail!!
I’ve checked a few other sites, and they suggest that the cable doesn’t provide enough power to satisfactorily run the drive! Do the cables deteriorate over time?
