I have a wd my passport 500gb and the software isn’t keeping it up to date. I have it set on continuous backup but every time I plug it in to save my work it either says ready to back up and does nothing or claims its ‘copying files’ but its not doing anything, no new files have been discovered. The only solution I have found is to un-install and re-install the software each time I want to back up, then it seems to be able to find the files. But I can’t keep doing that all the time its a joke. Any one had a similar problem?
Btw I have windows 8.
