WD software uses 15% of my 8 cpus, with no hard drive connected. I have Kapersky installed. This goes on for a long time

Are you able to provide an image of what you are talking about?

I tried but this web site would not let me paste it in. Since then I deleted the WD software, I am concerned it is shipping my information to some off-site computer or storage. Than would be very bad.

Before I deleted the WD software, The task manager showed:
WD Backup Engine (32bit), 15.8% CPU usage, 8.9MB memory
WD Rules Engine (32 bit), 4.1% CPU usage, 5.0 MB memory
