WD Smartware with Windows 10 - I can see backup volumes but cannot see any files on my Book Essential

I am trying to retrieve some files of my Book Essential with WD Smartware version 1.2.0.20 on a Windows 10 notebook. Smartware shows the backup volumes but not any backup files when you try to restore them. Using the Windows browser I can see and access those files.
Can you help me out with this issue?
