WD Smartware (Unlocking: Error Message) NOT WORKING

I have a WD Essentials hard disk and  I had password protected it. 

But now, when I click on the Unlock.exe file in the WD Smartware disk, it shows this message

“The application has encountered an unexpected error and is now exiting.”

what should I do in order to get it to open?

Have you tried using the drive on a different computer?

Did anything changed on your computer?

That error that you are getting is normally related to the OS that you are running. It might be an issue with the flash player or missing java updates.
