i had an issue last year and all my files are gone. I tried to use the utilities that time and somehow it worked and was able to reformat and save my files in it.
Last month when i am trying to look for my old files, i am getting a message that the drive needs to be formatted by when i tried…it is failing…
i used windows formatting, disk management, WD Formatting/erase tool in the wd utilities but no go.
anyone knows if they are fixing or replacing this kind of external drive. i check my product registration email and saw that the warranty is until Sept. 30, 2016
