Recently lost my laptop and purchased a new one. When I plugged in my passport 1TB drive, I ran the original install software on the new machine. Now, all music (ITunes) library must have a manual change to the permissions, Not a big issue unless you have over 87,000 songs in your library.

I’ve tried resetting permission on the entire drive and to populate security setting to all children files/folders, but the change does not take effect on the individual files in the folders. Does anyone know how to reset security on ALL contents of the drive?

I’ve tried that, this is an issue with music files in the ITunes Library, each of the artist folder security is fine, but the individual music files located in each folder are not, they are not picking up permissions from their parents.
