Sincere apologies if this has been asked before.
Up until I reinstalled my OS X Leopard 10.5.8 yesterday I could mount/unmount my external drive with no issues. After re-installation I can no longer mount the drive.
I can see my WD MyBook (1TB) in my finder (if I search for an item that I know is on the drive) and I can see the icon for the MyBook in Disk Utility. Although it is slightly greyed out. I can write to it, copy from it… move stuff around, delete stuff. Even though it’s not completely ‘there’.
I have downloaded EVERY driver possible, and it still won’t mount.
Any ideas greatly received.
