WD My Passport Ultra disconnected without eject, not mounting anymore

My 1TB My Passport Ultra disconnected accidentally while being backed up to Time Machine on my MacBook Air. Now, only the WD Unlocker Smartware loads and My Passport drive doesn’t show up.

I have a lot of very critical data on the drive. Is there any way for me to save it?

They unit may have been corrupted. Have you tried running First Aid on Disk Utility?

Did you ever get the drive to show up?

Nope. Have sent it in to WD for replacement through my local vendor.
