Hi,
A couple of days back my computer crashed and I had to restart it manually. My WD external harddrive (which is about 2,5 years old) was plugged in at that time and in use. Since restarting my computer, I have been unable to open the drive or check for any errors.
I’ve downloaded ‘WD Lifeguard Diagnostics’; ran a quick test and an extended test, both of which resulted in a message ‘too many bad sectors detected’.
Is there anything else I can do to fix it and recover my files?
Many thanks,
Marija
