WD My Passport 500Gb not detectable in My Computer

Dear all,

I need help. Got my first 500Gb My Passport as my 22nd brithday present but this is not a good thing to me as a week later after using it, the harddisc is not detectable in My computer nor any auto-detect being popped out.

Surprisingly, in “Device Manager”, the 500Gb is detectable in the “disc drives”. 

Wonder anyone would guide me with this?
