WD My Book problem

Hi, My external WD My Book is now being recognized as a CD drive.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Make sure the drive is plugged in directly into a wall outlet. try to avoid any extension cords, power strips and surge protectors. If this does not work then try replacing the USB cable and if possible also try another computer.

I tried it on a different computer and used a different USB cable.  Same problem.
