WD Elements doesn't connect to WD TV Live Media Player

Hello there. Just today I bought WD Elements external hard drive (3T), but the problem is it doesn’t connect to any of our TVs at home (Sony, Samsung) and it also doesn’t connect with WD TV Live Media Player. Although it does connect to the computer (Windows 8.1), everything else seem to work perfectly (copying files ect.). Can ayone tell me please what my options are?

Well, it might be the issue with the filesystem, please check the filesystem, try to change the filesystem of the drive.

have you tried changing the file system yet?..I have the same problem and have tried everything else I can think of to no avail.
