WD Elements 2 TB unable to Write on Mac OS X 10.11.6

Dear WD Team,

I am newly brought the WD Elements 2 TB External HDD. It’s can’t to write any data on my Mac OS X 10.11.6. It’s Showing READ Only.

Kindly help me to how to enable READ/WRITE.

Hello,

I recommend you format the drive on your Mac. This way you will be able to read/write on your Mac.
