How do you set up My Book to act as an external hard drive for iTunes? I’ve already backed-up the music files to My Book but when I go to Edit/ Advanced option in iTunes and select ‘iTunes Media Folder location’ I can’t locate the music files on the external drive. Help appreciated as I am fast running out of internal memory for my music.
if you backed up the files with a software it will be a lot harder to find the music collection on the drive.
You might be better off manually transferring the music folder to the ext drive and then selecting that folders through iTunes.
