Hi , recently upgraded to an IPhone 16 and downloaded all photos onto a usb stick , had to remove the Otto box Protective Case to use every time, I require an adapter that will work without having to remove the Otto box Case , I’ve purchased a couple from Amazon but they don’t connect,
Since you’re dealing with a USB-C port on the iPhone 16, the ideal solution is an OTG (On-The-Go) cable or adapter with a thin, extended connector that reaches past the case lip, think of it like a short “pigtail” cable.
iPhones with USB-C can access external storage via the Files app, so formatting your USB stick to exFAT or FAT32 will make it compatible. Also,
I did try a flexible adapter purchased from Amazon but I didn’t have much luck , I’ve upgraded the app and I’ll try again, if I’m unsuccessful would it be ok to send you a couple of photos via this platform so you can view and possibly advise if I’m unsuccessful ?
Sure, that’s absolutely fine! When you send the photos, it would be helpful if you could include a shot showing how the USB stick and adapter fit with your case, and the type of files you’re trying to access.
